Africa Acoustique – 25 Oct 2024
Batuki Music Society présente ‘Acoustic Africa’, une série de concerts qui met en vedette des artistes établis et émergents basés dans la ville qui interprètent de la musique africaine. Les artistes présentés se produiront en acoustique, en solo, en duo et en trio. Ce concert est l’occasion pour le public de découvrir la musique acoustique dans un cadre intime, ainsi que d’interagir avec les artistes.
Les artistes présentés incluent: Mis Blandine, IZimba Arts, Tichaona Maredza, Kofi Ackah, Maryem Tollar, Melat Mengesha, Donné Roberts, Fethi Nadjem, Abu Gebre, Nii Osabu, Opio Twongweno, Ruth Mathiang, David John, Fasika, Tofik, Mutamba Moyo et Xaena. DJ Moussa jouera une sélection variée de succès et de classiques de la musique africaine.

Multi-instrumentalist (violin, guitar, oud, guembri, singer) with Algerian heritage.
Izimba Arts
Brian Moyo and Teddy Masuku specialize in high-energy traditional and urban dance from Southern Africa regions.
Kofi Ackah
Drummer, percussionist, composer and singer with Ghanaian heritage.
Maryem Tollar
Singer, composer and qanun player with Egyptian heritage.
Melat Mengesha
Singer and performer of Ethiopian traditional and contemporary music.
Mis Blandine
Congolese singer, songwriter and dancer, performer of African classic and popular music forms.
Mutamba Moyo
Mutamba Moyo is an mbira musician, singer, educator and founder of Ubuntu Learning Village in Zimbabwe.
Nii Osabu
Guitarist, composer and singer with Ghanaian heritage.
Opio Twongweno
Opio Twongweno is a pioneer of 'Lakubukubu', a traditional Acholi music from Northern Uganda. He specializes in wedding, birthday and funeral songs.
Ruth Mathiang
Singer, poet and peace activist with Southern Sudanese heritage.
Tichaona Maredza
Singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist (guitar, mbira, drums, vocals) with Zimbabwean heritage.
Tofik
