Batuki Music Society in partnership with Alliance Française Toronto presents Alpha Yaya Diallo.

Guitarist and singer Alpha Yaya Diallo, from Guinea in West Africa, has earned an unbeatable reputation for the excellence of his musicianship and the excitement of his live shows. Diallo is a three-time JUNO award winner. His dexterous ability to play acoustic and electric guitar, with fluid melodic lines and compelling grooves, places him in the front ranks of African musicians. In addition, he’s a skilled and experienced performer on a variety of percussion instruments as well as the balafon. To top it off, Diallo writes all of his own compositions and sings with a supple, high, and beautifully modulated voice.
